Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Stuart A Siegel earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1984 from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor in 1987 from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He served as an assistant district attorney for Nassau County, New York (1987-1992), an administrative law judge for the New York City Department of Transportation (1992-1994), and an associate attorney with Adorno & Zeder, PA (1994-1997), before serving as an assistant chief counsel for the Office of Chief Counsel, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in Pompano Beach, Florida, from December 1997 to March 2017. He was commissioned into the U.S. Army Reserves Judge Advocate General's Corps in 1994. Judge Siegel is a member of the Florida Bar and the New York State Bar.
