The Honorable Immigration Judge Roxanne C Hladylowycz earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1979 from Rutgers University, a Juris Doctor in 1985 from Temple University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws in 1989 from McGeorge School of Law and the University of Salzburg. From 1989 to 1995 she was a managing attorney for the International Institute of New Jersey in Jersey City, and from 1995 to 1998 served as an assistant district counsel for the former Immigration and Naturalization Service in Newark. She was appointed an immigration judge in New York in June 1998 and later transferred to the Headquarters Immigration Court.
