Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Robert C. O'Neil earned a Bachelor of Science in 2006 from the University of Connecticut, a Juris Doctor in 2011 from Golden Gate University School of Law, and a Master of Laws in 2012 from UCLA School of Law. From 2014 to 2026, he served as a deputy city attorney with the Office of the City Attorney in Los Angeles, and he previously worked as a state attorney at the State Compensation Insurance Fund in Glendale, California, and as an attorney with Lowe & Associates in Los Angeles. He served as a judge advocate at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, and Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, California, and holds the rank of captain in the U.S. Army Reserve. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
