Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Quynh Vu Bain earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1988 from Dickinson College and a Juris Doctor in 1991 from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. From 1991 to 1996, she served as a trial attorney with the Immigration and Naturalization Service, entering through the Attorney General's Honors Program. She later served as counsel to the Deputy Attorney General (2001-2003), as a trial attorney in the Department of Justice Civil Division's Torts Branch (2003-2006), and as senior litigation counsel in the Office of Immigration Litigation (2006-2008), and was an adjunct professor at American University Washington College of Law. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and New York bars.
