Background

The Honorable Immigration Judge Peter Faerber earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1992 from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Juris Doctor in 2006 from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Before his appointment, he served as branch head of Legal Assistance in the Judge Advocate Division at Headquarters Marine Corps in the Pentagon (2024-2026) and as an attorney at the Bateman Law Group in Leavenworth, Kansas. He served on active duty as a U.S. Marine Corps judge advocate from 2006 to 2021 and is a member of the Ohio State Bar.
