Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Oren Gleich earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2000 from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Juris Doctor in 2006 from the Georgetown University Law Center. From 2023 to 2025 he served as a senior trial counsel with the New York Regional Office of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and from 2018 to 2023 as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York. Earlier he served as an assistant district attorney at the New York County District Attorney's Office and on active duty as a judge advocate in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, and he continues to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corps as a lieutenant colonel and military judge. He is a member of the New York State Bar.
