Background

The Honorable Immigration Judge Nancy J Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in 1985 from the University of Nebraska and a Juris Doctor in 1988 from Creighton University School of Law. Before her appointment, she served as a military judge for the U.S. Air Force at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, and Travis Air Force Base, California (2003-2010), including as a military commission judge at Guantanamo Bay (2008-2010), as chief of Operations and International Law at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (2000-2003), and in various staff judge advocate roles during the 1990s.
