Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Mark J Jebson earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1990 from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Juris Doctor in 1994 from John Marshall Law School, and a Master of Laws in 1995 from New York University School of Law. Before his appointment, he served in the Office of Chief Counsel, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Detroit (2003-2015) in roles including senior attorney and deputy chief counsel, as an assistant U.S. attorney in Dallas (2002-2003), and as an assistant district counsel with the former Immigration and Naturalization Service in Detroit (1997-2002). He is a member of the Illinois State Bar and the State Bar of Michigan.
