Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Maithe Gonzalez earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2002 from Florida International University and a Juris Doctor in 2005 from the St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law. She has practiced immigration law her entire career, serving as an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Lourdes Martinez-Esquivel PA (2006-2008) and as owner and managing attorney at the Law Firm of Maithe Gonzalez PA in Coral Gables, Florida (2008-2023). She was appointed as an immigration judge in November 2023. Judge Gonzalez is a member of the Florida Bar.
