Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Lori R. Bass earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1978 from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctor in 1988 from St. Thomas University School of Law. She served as an attorney for Senator Conrad Burns (1989-1990), as an assistant district counsel for the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Washington, D.C. (1991-1992) and Miami (1992-1997), and then held positions with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles as associate chief counsel (1997-2004) and associate legal advisor (2004-2006). She is a member of the Florida and District of Columbia Bars.
