Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Lisa Dornell earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1983 from the University of Vermont and a Juris Doctor in 1986 from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. From 1986 to 1990, she served as an assistant general counsel and general attorney with the former Immigration and Naturalization Service, and from 1990 to 1995 she worked with the Office of Immigration Litigation. She is a member of the Texas and District of Columbia Bars.
