Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Katie G. Mullins earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2012 from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor in 2015 from the University of Michigan Law School. From 2019 to 2023, she served as an attorney and managing attorney at Centro Legal de la Raza in Oakland, California, representing noncitizens before immigration agencies. From 2017 to 2019, she was a staff attorney at the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services in San Antonio, Texas, and she previously served as a judicial law clerk and legal fellow with the American Civil Liberties Union of Hawaii. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
