Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Judy Archuleta earned a Bachelor of Science in 1982 and a Juris Doctor in 1985, both from the University of Colorado. From 2019 to 2022, she served as a mediator for the Colorado Civil Rights Division in Denver, and from 2010 to 2019 as an administrative law hearings officer for the city of Denver. Following appointment by the Governor of Colorado in 2000, she served as a county court judge and presiding judge for the 1st Judicial District in Golden, Colorado, through 2009, and from 1985 to 2000 she was a deputy district attorney for the 1st Judicial District. She is a member of the Colorado Bar.
