The Honorable Immigration Judge John E. Moriarty earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2011 from Ursinus College, a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in 2016 from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, and a Master of Arts in 2023 from Hillsdale College's Van Andel Graduate School of Statesmanship, where he has been pursuing a Ph.D. in politics since 2021. He served as an assistant district attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office (2016-2017), as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stephanos Bibas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (2017-2018), and as a litigation associate at Duane Morris LLP in Philadelphia (2018-2021). He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and is admitted before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third and Federal Circuits.
