The Honorable Immigration Judge Jennifer A. Henry was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in July 2026. Judge Henry earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1990 from California State University, Sacramento, and a Juris Doctor in 1993 from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. From January 2009 to July 2026, she served as a judge of the First District Court, in Suffolk County, New York. From January 2021 to July 2026, she served as an acting county court judge in Suffolk County, New York, for the Drug Treatment Court. From April 2002 to October 2007, she served as principal law secretary to an acting justice of the New York State Supreme Court in Riverhead, New York. From August 1993 to May 1999, she served as an assistant district attorney with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Central Islip and Riverhead, New York. Judge Henry is a member of the New York State Bar.
