Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Jason R Masterson earned a Master of Arts in 2000 from the Naval War College, a Bachelor of Arts in 2003 from the University of Cincinnati, and a Juris Doctor in 2010 from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. From 2011 to 2020 he served as an active duty judge advocate in the U.S. Navy in a range of roles, including deputy staff attorney for U.S. Forces Afghanistan and the NATO Resolute Support mission and defense counsel and prosecutor postings in the United States. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar.
