Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Jamie B Perry earned a Bachelor of Social Work in 2004 and a Master of Social Work in 2005 from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor in 2010 from American University. She served as an attorney advisor with the Office on Violence Against Women at the Department of Justice in 2023, as a senior trial attorney in the Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section of the Criminal Division from 2015 to 2023, and as a trial attorney in the Narcotic and Dangerous Drug Section from 2011 to 2015, following a clerkship with Judge Fern Flanagan Saddler from 2010 to 2011. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar.
