Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Jamee E. Comans earned a Bachelor of Science in 2005 from Saint Leo University and a Juris Doctor in 2008 from the Mississippi College School of Law. She was an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Matt Greenbaum LLP in New Orleans (2009-2012), served as an Assistant Chief Counsel with ICE's Office of the Principal Legal Advisor in Memphis (2012-2018), and served as Deputy Chief Counsel in Jena and Oakdale, Louisiana (2018-2021); she has also served in the U.S. Navy Reserve since 2001. She was appointed as an immigration judge in October 2021 and sits at the LaSalle (Jena) Immigration Court. Judge Comans is a member of the Mississippi Bar.
