Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Eric L Levinson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, cum laude, in 1989 from the University of Georgia and a Juris Doctor in 1992 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served with the Superior Court of the North Carolina Judicial Branch as a resident Superior Court judge (2009-2019) and an emergency commission Superior Court judge (2019-2023), and worked as a certified mediator from July 2023 to March 2026. Judge Levinson is a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.
