She served as a supervising deputy attorney general in the California Attorney General's Office (2005-2024), as an associate attorney at Rice and Keely LLC in Torrance, California (2004-2005), and as a deputy district attorney in the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office (1988-2004). She is a member of the State Bar of California.
