Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge David White earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1982 from the University of North Carolina and a Juris Doctor in 1992 from Washington and Lee University. He served as an attorney with the Department of Justice's Office of Immigration Litigation from 2018 to 2020, as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of the Virgin Islands from 2014 to 2018, as an attorney with the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Chief Counsel from 2008 to 2014, and in the Appellate Section of the Department of Justice from 2004 to 2008. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
