The Honorable Immigration Judge Dat T. Vo earned a Bachelor of Science in 2000 and a Master of Business Administration in 2007 from the University of Massachusetts Boston, a Juris Doctor in 2016 from South Texas College of Law Houston, and a Master of Laws from the University of Houston Law Center. He served as an estate and gift tax attorney for the Internal Revenue Service from 2024 to 2026 and previously spent 16 years in investment banking. He has served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps since 2022, holding the rank of captain, and was appointed a temporary immigration judge.
