Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Christina M Martyak earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1989 from Boston College, a Master of Arts in 2000 from Ball State University, and a Juris Doctor in 2000 from St. Thomas University. Before her appointment, she served as an assistant chief counsel for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Miami (2006-2019), as an assistant statewide prosecutor with the Florida Office of the Attorney General (2005-2006), and as an assistant state attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office (2000-2004).
