Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Charles Adkins-Blanch earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1984 from Grinnell College and a Juris Doctor in 1990 from the National Law Center at George Washington University. He began his career with EOIR as an attorney advisor to the Board of Immigration Appeals (1990-1995) and later served as general counsel for EOIR (2000-2004). From 2004 to 2008 he served as an immigration judge at the Headquarters Immigration Court before being appointed to the Board of Immigration Appeals in August 2008, where he later served as Vice Chairman.
