Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Benedict Gullo earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1996 from Skidmore College, a Juris Doctor in 1999 from Hofstra University School of Law, a Master of Laws in Military Law in 2011 from the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's School, and a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy in 2023 from the Eisenhower School. From 2003 to 2026 he served as a judge advocate for the U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard, retiring at the rank of captain. He previously served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Ohio (2015-2017) and as a senior assistant district attorney with the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, New York.
