Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Anthony Hurst earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2013 from Xavier University and a Juris Doctor in 2016 from Cleveland State University College of Law. From April 2019 to March 2026, he worked at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court in Cleveland, serving as a magistrate (2021-2026) and staff attorney (2019-2023). He earlier served as an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Adams County Prosecutor's Office in West Union, Ohio (2020-2023) and with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office (2017-2019), and worked at the Geauga County Probate/Juvenile Court in Chardon, Ohio as a staff attorney and law clerk (2014-2017). He is a member of the Ohio State Bar.
