The Honorable Immigration Judge Annette Gaul earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1976 from St. John Fisher College, a Master of Arts in International Studies in 1978 from the American University, and a Juris Doctor in 1994 from George Mason University School of Law. From 2009 to 2018, she served as an administrative law judge, including with the New York State Workers' Compensation Board and the Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board. From 2001 to 2009, she was in private practice at the Law Office of Annette Gaul in Rochester, New York, and from 1997 to 2001 she served as an assistant district attorney in the Monroe County District Attorney's Office.
