Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Amy C. Hoogasian earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Before her appointment, she worked as a county prosecutor, a hearing officer with the Illinois Pollution Control Board, a prosecutor with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement/DHS beginning in 1999, and chief counsel at Uline Inc.; she later served as an assistant chief immigration judge in Phoenix.
