Attorney General Pamela Bondi appointed Gregory Radics as a Deputy Chief Appellate Immigration Judge in January 2026. Judge Radics earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia and a Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law. From February 2025 to January 2026, he served in the Office of the General Counsel first as the Acting General Counsel (February 2025 – October 2025) and then as Acting Chief of Employee Labor Relations from October 2025 to January 2026. In February 2025, for a brief period before becoming the Acting General Counsel, he served as EOIR’s Acting Chief Management Officer. From 2019 to January 2025, he served as an assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. From 2008 to 2019, he served as an assistant chief counsel in the Office of the Chief Counsel, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in Atlanta. During this time, from 2015 to 2017 he served as an attorney advisor in Homeland Security Investigations, Office of the Special Agent in Charge (SAC-Atlanta), ICE, DHS. From 2010 to 2012 and 2018 to 2019, he served multiple details as a special assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. Before his federal service, from 1999 to 2008, he served as a senior assistant district attorney in the state courts of Georgia. Judge Radics is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
