The Honorable Immigration Judge William D. Dill was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in July 2026. From May 2004 to April 2011, he served as a deputy attorney general in the Violent Crimes Division of the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, in Montgomery, Alabama. From January 2003 to May 2004, he served as a deputy legal advisor and legal advisor for the Office of the Governor of the State of Alabama in Montgomery, Alabama. From December 1996 to January 2003, he served as a prosecutor for the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, in Montgomery, Alabama. From October 1994 to December 1996, he served as an assistant district attorney for the Office of the District Attorney in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Judge Dill is a member of the Alabama State Bar.
