The Honorable Immigration Judge Ryan C. Painter was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in July 2026. From April 2015 to January 2021, he served as director of the elder abuse program at the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan in Lansing, Michigan. From April 2013 to April 2015, he served as an assistant prosecuting attorney at the Shiawassee County Office of Prosecuting Attorney in Corunna, Michigan. From January 2010 to April 2013, he was an associate attorney at Rollo, Harter and Poling LLP in Huntington, Indiana. From November 2005 to December 2009, he served as a deputy prosecuting attorney in South Bend and Scottsville, Indiana. From January 2004 to October 2005, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Paul Maloney, in St. Joseph, Michigan. Judge Painter is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
