The Honorable Immigration Judge Russell Wardlow was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in July 2026. Judge Wardlow earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2003 from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor in 2006 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. From July 2018 to July 2026, he was a senior attorney at the Office of Chief Counsel, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, El Paso, Texas. From June 2015 to July 2018, he served as a labor attorney at Fort Bliss, Texas. From July 2007 to June 2015, he served as an active-duty judge advocate with the U.S. Army at various locations throughout the United States.
