The Honorable Immigration Judge Michael J. Hussey was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in August 2026. Judge Hussey earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 from the University of Cincinnati, a Juris Doctor in 2005 from the University of Dayton School of Law, and a Master of Laws in 2016 from the George Washington University Law School. From 2005 to August 2026, Judge Hussey served in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps in numerous assignments, including as defense counsel, staff judge advocate, and environmental counsel. Judge Hussey is a member of the Ohio State Bar.
