The Honorable Immigration Judge Meghan K. Lackey was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in August 2026. From November 2018 to September 2025, Judge Lackey served as chief deputy commonwealth's attorney, and from November 2014 to November 2018 as assistant commonwealth's attorney, with the Wythe County Commonwealth's Attorney Office in Virginia. Judge Lackey is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
