The Honorable Immigration Judge Mark A. Tomicich was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in August 2026. Judge Tomicich earned a Bachelor of Science in 1986 from Montana State University Billings and a Juris Doctor in 1989 from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. From March 2024 to July 2026, Judge Tomicich was principal of Beartooth Aviation Law LLC in Montana. From September 1989 to February 2024, Judge Tomicich served as a senior attorney in the Office of the Chief Counsel, Federal Aviation Administration, in Washington, D.C. Judge Tomicich is a member of the State Bar of Montana.
