The Honorable Immigration Judge Brian J. Pearly was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in August 2026. Judge Pearly earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1998 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Juris Doctor in 2001 from New England School of Law. From March 2024 to August 2026, Judge Pearly served as an assistant attorney general in the Gaming Enforcement Division of the Criminal Bureau, Office of the Attorney General, in Boston. From February 2016 to March 2024, Judge Pearly served as an assistant district attorney with the Worcester County District Attorney's Office in Worcester, Massachusetts, assigned to the Gang Unit from March 2020. From October 2011 to February 2016, Judge Pearly served as first assistant city solicitor for the City of Westfield, Massachusetts. Judge Pearly is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
