The Honorable Immigration Judge Brian E. Salisbury was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in August 2026. Judge Salisbury earned a Bachelor of Science in 2005 from Utah Valley University and a Juris Doctor in 2008 from Albany Law School. From May 2016 to August 2026, Judge Salisbury served as a general attorney in the Litigation and Advisory Division, Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Department of the Treasury, in Philadelphia. From April 2014 to May 2016, Judge Salisbury served as a correctional officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Correctional Institute in Fort Worth, Texas. From November 2008 to November 2013, Judge Salisbury served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Judge Salisbury is a member of the New York State Bar.
